The annual Sunrise (Australia Cambodia Dinner) for SA was held
at the Sail Master Tavern at North Haven Marina on Saturday
18th October. 

Proceeds raised on the night go towards the building project of
the new childrens village being built near Sihanoukville in Southern
Cambodia, the third orphanage to be commissioned by the foundation.
Work is well underway on this new project.

The MGA Whittles Group provides back office support to the Foundation
both in Cambodia and abroad. Group Managing Director, John George
is a long term board member and treasurer of the Foundation.

During the speeches, Geraldine Cox (AM) provided guests with an update
on Sunrise and was clearly very proud of her Cambodian kids currently
studying in Adelaide, Narith Horm, Chhay Phem and Theaneath Outh. 



Throughout the evening, several items were on display for the
silent auction. The crowd also loved the very talented band, "Sas E". 
 
The evening ended on a high note with the band firing up to create
a near "full room participation" conga line.
