Broadacre Crop

The major risks covered by broad acre crop insurance are:

        •  Hail
        •  Fire
        •  Explosion

Additional benefits available in the market place include:

        1.  Chemical overspray caused by spray drifting from adjoining properties 
             not owned by you
        2.  Damage caused by straying livestock not owned by you
        3.  Stored seed and hay being covered for fire and perils until sowing is 
             completed the following calendar year
        4.  Grain and hay covered for accidental damage whilst in transit
        5.  Extra harvest allowance where damage to an insured crop is 
             assessed at greater than 70%
        6.  Reducing excess benefit where the assessed loss is greater than 20%
        7.  Replanting subsidy

Note: generally additional benefits 1, 2 & 5 are not applicable if you elect to insure for fire cover only.
