Broadacre Crop

The major risks covered by broad acre crop insurance are:

        •  Hail
        •  Fire
        •  Explosion

Additional benefits available in the market place include:

        •  Chemical overspray caused by spray drifting from adjoining properties 
            not owned by you
        •  Damage caused by straying livestock not owned by you
        •  Stored seed and hay being covered for fire and perils until sowing is 
            completed the following calendar year
        •  Grain and hay covered for accidental damage whilst in transit
        •  Extra harvest allowance where damage to an insured crop is assessed 
            at greater than 70%
        •  Reducing excess benefit where the assessed loss is greater than 20%
        •  Replanting subsidy

Note: generally additional benefits 1,2 & 5 are not applicable if you elect to insure for fire cover only.
