John was sizing up opportunities across the state. Sometimes opportunity comes knocking from unusual places. Around 1981, John became suspicious of his accountant. The accountant was driving a flashy car, and a few of Johns acquaintances told him that he was saying less than flattering things about him. John promptly moved his business elsewhere.
