Empowering the next generation starts with supporting the right foundations, which is why MGA Insurance Group was proud to contribute $40,000 to Mulga Street Primary School in support of its Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program.

The funds helped upgrade the school’s kitchen facilities, enabling students to engage in hands-on learning that fosters practical skills, healthy habits, and confidence, both in and out of the classroom.

A Lasting Investment in Education

Our Executive Chairman, John George OAM, shared his thoughts at the time of the announcement:

“We’re delighted to support projects that build important skills students will carry throughout their lives. Congratulations to the school team for driving this initiative.”

With this upgrade, more students will benefit from an enriched learning environment that combines cooking, gardening, and life education in a fun and meaningful way.

Backing Brighter Futures

Through the MGA Whittles Community Foundation, we’re honoured to support educational initiatives like this one, projects that not only enrich classrooms, but also build stronger, more capable communities for the future.

We commend the staff, students, and wider Mulga Street Primary School community for their dedication, and we look forward to seeing the lasting benefits of this upgrade for years to come.
