Supporting local communities is a fundamental part of the MGA Whittles Group mission. When the Kensington Baseball Club suffered a devastating cyber-attack, resulting in a $22,000 loss, we recognised the urgency to step in and help.
To assist in their recovery, Executive Chairman John George OAM presented a $15,000 cheque to the club, providing much-needed financial support. This donation reflects our commitment to preserving the legacy of this historic club, which is just one year away from celebrating its 100th anniversary.
The Kensington Baseball Club, also known as the Kensington Cardinals, has been a vital part of the local community for nearly a century. The cyber-attack was a significant setback, but with the help of organisations like MGA Whittles Group and the broader community, the Cardinals are determined to bounce back stronger than ever.
Our contribution is part of a larger effort to ensure the club reaches its centenary milestone in 2026, continuing to inspire athletes and unite the community.
The Kensington Baseball Club needs the support of its community now more than ever. By standing together, we can help the Cardinals recover and ensure their incredible legacy continues for future generations.
