At MGA Insurance Group, we believe in backing the people and programs that shape stronger futures — and in 2025, we were proud to do just that as a Gold Sponsor of the BEYOND Cycling Challenge, supporting TRACTION for Young People Ltd.

Over five unforgettable days, 34 riders across four teams took on a challenging 580km journey with more than 8,500 metres of elevation. The route stretched from Caboolture to Brisbane via the Sunshine Coast, and every kilometre was fuelled by a shared purpose: empowering young Australians with the confidence, resilience, and practical skills they need to thrive.

Riding for a Cause That Matters

This year’s challenge raised an incredible $847,513, contributing to nearly $2 million in fundraising across 2024–2025. These funds will directly support TRACTION’s hands-on mentoring programs for young people — programs that have a lasting impact in communities right across the country.

We were thrilled to stand behind this mission, with Kelly Commins (MGA Team Leader) proudly representing us alongside Paul George (Managing Director, MGA Insurance Group) and Todd Redman (MGA Sunshine Coast). Their presence reflected our ongoing commitment to community connection and youth empowerment.

Stronger Together

At MGA Insurance Group, we’re committed to protecting what matters most — and that includes backing organisations like TRACTION that invest in the next generation. We’re grateful to have played a part in this inspiring journey and to support a mission that continues to change lives, one ride — and one young person — at a time.
